Hoedown in the Holler Country Music Festival returns September 22-23

Bojangles named as presenting sponsor

James Otto and Morgan Wallen will headline

Hoedown in the Holler, a homegrown country music festival started in 2010, will return for the eighth renewal in 2017. September 22 headliner Morgan Wallen, a rising star in the country world, was a contestant on Season 6 of The Voice and has a current single “The Way I Talk” in Billboard’s Top 40. The event will be headlined Sept. 23 by Grammy nominated, CMA & ACM award winner James Otto. Otto’s hits include “Just Got Started Lovin’ You” and writer of smash hit “In Color”.

Bojangles’, the popular, fast-growing restaurant chain with nearby locations in Mount Sterling, Winchester, Versailles and Georgetown, has signed on as the presenting sponsor of Hoedown in the Holler for 2017. Bojangles’ offers unique and delicious menu items including their flavorful, hand-breaded bone-in chicken; hot, fresh buttermilk biscuits made from scratch every 20 minutes; original fixin’s and much more. Bojangles’ is also famous for their all-day breakfast, served hot and fresh every day.

The full schedule of bands performing on Friday and Saturday will be released soon.

Camp sites are available and are $60 for the weekend, including water and electric. Reservations for campsites are currently being accepted.

Tickets will be on sale soon and are $20 in advance for Friday; $25 after July Sept. 16. Tickets are $20 in advance for Saturday; $25 after Sept. 16.

There will be food and beverage vendors on-site during the event. There will be a limited quantity of Hoedown in the Holler official merchandise for sale.
