Owingsville Fire Department distributes fruit baskets

Owingsville Volunteer Fire Department made and distributed fruit baskets Saturday, Dec. 17, with the help of Preston and Olympian Springs Fire Departments, Cub Scout Pack 222 and their parents, Bath County Jailers, Ginny Richardson-Clark, Owingsville Mayor Gary Hunt and several others. The members of the fire department conducted a boot drive a couple of weeks earlier and used the donations to purchase the fruit, which was distributed out to various people throughout the county. In total, there were around 200 baskets made and distributed.
