Ace Hardware opens in Owingsville

It was an exciting day for the citizens of Bath County with the opening of the new Ace Hardware Store in Owingsville.

The new facility is located in the old IGA building at 88 Water Street.

“We certainly welcome the new Ace Hardware to the county. We wish them the best of luck and hope they have many years of success here in Bath County. We appreciate the jobs and what it adds to the tax base as well as the occupational tax. It will certainly save time and money for our residents in keeping them from having to travel to another county for their hardware needs. We are glad to have met Mr. Brown when we did which led them to purchase the property in Owingsville and helping them to find local financing that sealed the deal for them” Judge Executive Rogers said.

Additional grand opening events will be held within the next few weeks.
