Owingsville says goodbye to IGA and hello to a new Ace Hardware Store

“A new era is about to begin at 88 Water Street in Owingsville. On Tuesday, May 3, the IGA sign came down after many wonderful years serving the citizens of Owingsville and Bath County. I spent many memorable days sacking groceries and stocking shelves working at the IGA for Parley. However, the new sign going up will read ACE Hardware and we are all looking forward to the many benefits this new business will bring our community. Renovations are moving along very well and hopefully we will see the doors open for business in just a few months,” Owingsville mayor Gary Hunt said.
